February 28, 2006 - CruiseControl 2.4.1 Released

Our first attempt at a timeboxed release, version 2.4.1 is now available for download. The most noticeable difference in the release will be the new (and hopefully improved) index.jsp in the reporting application, but there are some new plugins as well: ExecBuilder, Maven2Builder, PropertyFileLabelIncrementer, and WeblogPublisher.

Jeff, was good meeting you at the recent Continuous Agitation sessions in Auckland last week.

CruiseControl is certainly looking much nicer than I remember it these days. I recently installed a copy on my windows laptop (which didn't have any copy of cvs or subversion installed) and even after installing cvsnt it's still not running cvs.

Anyway - are you looking into including any of the pure java cvs/subversion clients into CruiseControl? That'd be cool...

I hadn't given any thought to the pure java clients but now that you mention it I'm curious... I think I'll enter the item into the CC Jira so that we don't lose the idea.
